Author Visits Carlyle

Childrens’ author and yoga Instructor Kathy Beliveau visited Carlyle Elementary School in TMR recently. Beliveau lives in Vancouver Island, British Columbia. During a recent visit to Montreal, she spent a morning at Carlyle where she shared stories and practiced yoga with Adele Tevel’s Grade 5 students. The students had read Beliveau’s children’s book, The Yoga Game earlier in the school year. After playing The Yoga Game, they wrote letters and communicated with Beliveau through their former student teacher, Beliveau’s daughter. The children loved the experience of reading the book and writing letters to the author. The whole experience culminated with Beliveau’s visit- a true IB experience.
