WESTMOUNT HIGH SCHOOL TO DEBUT LIBDUB

Repercussion Theatre

MONTREAL, JUNE 6, 2012 – After six months of practice and an intense afternoon of shooting, Westmount High School (4350 Ste Catherine) will premiere their extraordinary lip dub for students and staff this Friday (9 a.m.) in the auditorium.

The soon-to-be viral sensation was conceived by teacher Fiona Chung who worked tirelessly from the beginning of the school year to get the project off the ground.

Assisting her was Sarah Barrable Tishauer, a communications consultant for the school but best known for playing the role of Liberty on CTV’s Degrassi the Next Generation for nine seasons (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cUhec2etsWc). She even makes a cameo appearance.

Featuring the entire student body and staff, other individuals set to appear in the lip dub are Principal Michael Cristofaro, vice-principals Steven Erdelyi and Joanna Genovezo,s as well as the Westmount High School Leadership team.

Westmount High School is following in the footsteps of the Université de Québec á Montréal (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-zcOFN_VBVo), whose lip dub has amassed more than 10 million views on YouTube.
