MONTREAL, OCTOBER 9, 2013 Two young students from the English Montreal School Board’s (EMSB) Laurier Macdonald Vocational Centre in St. Léonard tragically died last weekend in a car accident.

Nicholas  Munn, 23 from Town of Mount Royal was travelling northbound  on Interstate 89 near Berlin, Vermont with his passenger and classmate Timothy Pirro, 21, from Laval, when he lost control of the vehicle and it crashed into a series of ledges. There was a steady rain at the time.

The two students were enrolled in the Auto Mechanics Program at Laurier Macdonald Vocational Centre. “We extend our deepest sympathies to their families,” said Principal Lino Buttino. “This is a horrible tragedy and we are all in a state of shock.”
