LESTER B. PEARSON HIGH SCHOOL KICKS OFF WE SCARE HUNGER CAMPAIGN WITH WALK

MONTREAL, OCTOBER 17, 2013 – A sea of blue marched down Boulevard Maurice Duplessis recently when the students and staff of Lester B. Pearson High School in Montreal North marched towards Leonardo Da Vinci Academy in R.D.P. to raise awareness for their “We Scare Hunger” campaign.

Over the course of October, students at both Lester B. Pearson High School and Leonardo Da Vinci have been engaging in a friendly competition of attempting to collect the higher number of non-perishable goods for the campaign.

The walk was a way to promote their campaign throughout the two communities as well as have the two student bodies unite as the drive enters the final days of the month.

Donations of any non-perishable items can be made either at Lester B. Pearson High School (11575 P.M. Favier) in Montreal North or Leonardo Da Vinci Academy (12025 Andre Dumas) in R.D.P.
