CORONATION STUDENTS REACH OUT TO SCHOOL FOR NEPAL RELIEF AS THREE STUDENTS WORRY ABOUT FAMILY BACK HOME

MONTREAL, APRIL 29, 2015 – In light of last Saturday’s shocking earthquake that struck Nepal, three natives of the country and present-day students at Coronation Elementary School (4810 Van Horne) in Côte des Neiges are set to speak to their classmates on Thursday morning (10 am) via the Public Address system about the devastation in their home country.

Aarsi Basinet in Grade 4 and twins Arya and Ayushi Parajuli in Grade 2 approached Coronation’s principal Joanna Genovezos on Wednesday with a request to speak to the students and to raise money for Nepal.  Friday will be a dress-down day at Coronation in which all money raised will be donated to relief funds.

The students still have family residing in Nepal.
