KIDS TELL TALES: EXTRAORDINARY STORYTELLING EVENT OCTOBER 26

MONTREAL, OCTOBER 22, 2007- For its ninth edition, the Québec Intercultural Storytelling Festival will team up with the English Montreal School Board (EMSB) to present a family storytelling event featuring young tellers aged 10 to 12 at Royal Vale School (5851 Somerled) in N.D.G. on Friday, October 26 (7 p.m.).

For many years now the EMSB has been putting on a board-wide storytelling festival in the spring which allows students in Cycle 3 to try their hand at this ancient art form. The festival wishes to honour the tremendous work that the EMSB does to promote and support storytelling, and to showcase the talent of these fantastic young tellers. Ten storytellers from Royal Vale, Willingdon, Bancroft, Gerald McShane, St-John Bosco, Parkdale and Edinburgh will delight our ears with traditional stories from around the world in an event which is great for the whole family.

Admission is free. Light refreshments will be served after the event.
