Not only will Temple perform entertaining and interactive presentations, but, during the tour, over 30,000 Brady Brady books will be given to Canadian children at 80 venues in seven provinces.

The EMSB itinerary is as follows: Mon. Nov. 12, Sinclair Laird in Park Extension (8380 Wiseman), 9 a.m. and Cedarcrest in St. Laurent (1505 Muir), 12:45 p.m.; Tues. Nov. 13, Hampstead School (83 Thurlow), 10 a.m. and St. Brendan in Rosemount (6650 39th Street), 1:45 p.m.; Wed. Nov. 14, Dalkeith in Anjou (7951 Dalkeith); and Fri. Nov. 16, Westmount Park in Westmount (15 Park Place), 8:45 a.m. and Elizabeth Ballantyne in Montreal West (314 Northview), 2 p.m.

Brady Brady was conceived in the early 1990s by author Mary Shaw, who at the time was unable to find engaging reading material for her young son, Brady. Since the inaugural book, 12 more have been added to the series. All books focus on sports (primarily hockey, also baseball and football) and target male and female readers, ages four to eight. The books are recognized by school boards across Canada as a tool to help motivate young male readers - an at-risk group.
