MONTREAL, APRIL 3, 2012 – Kimealia Hercules, a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School in St. Michel and candidate to represent Canada at the Miss Universe pageant, will be returning to her old high school to speak to students on Wednesday, April 11 at 10:30 a.m.
At the EMSB, Kimealia participated in sports such as basketball, soccer, and track and field. She was also a member of the EMSB Choral and served as a volunteer tutor at John F. Kennedy High School
Currently, Kimealia Hercules is completing her DEC in Social Science-Criminology at Champlain College in Saint Lambert. Following her studies at Champlain, she plans on pursuing a degree in Forensic Science in university, with the ultimate goal of securing a career as a Crime Scene Investigator.
Through Miss Universe Canada, Kimealia’s intentions are to become involved with different charities, including helping children in developing countries that lack the opportunity for education. Coming from a single parent household, she strongly wants to encourage and support single parents’ organizations and also work with and help delinquent adolescents. As a teenager, she volunteered at the Sun Youth Day Camp as a Counsellor in Training as well as the Sun Youth Bike Patrol Crime Prevention team.
