Repercussion Theatre

MONTREAL, SEPTEMBER 19, 2012 – Continuing a strong and proud history of support for the Terry Fox Foundation, over 950 students and 60 staff members from Westmount High School (4350 Ste Catherine) will be take to the streets of Westmount on September 27 for the school’s inaugural Terry Fox Walk.

Set to begin at 11:30 a.m. on the track adjacent to Westmount High School, the route will take students through the heart of the city and back to the high school over the course of one hour. In addition to raising awareness for the Terry Fox Foundation, the walk will hopefully generate $5,000 in donations towards cancer research.

Westmount High School has proudly supported the Terry Fox Foundation since 1992 with their annual “Terry Fox Walk ‘n Roll”. Separate from the Terry Fox Walk, this annual event takes place at the beginning of October and brings together leadership students from the high school with buddies from the Mackay Center and Philip E. Layton schools. The “Walk ‘N Roll” has raised over $38,000 since its inception.
