ROYAL VALE HIGH SCHOOL SET FOR CONCERT BENEFITTING CHILDREN`S HOSPITAL

Repercussion Theatre

MONTREAL, OCTOBER 18, 2012- Royal Vale High School (5851 Somerled Avenue) will be hosting the “Dream a little dream” concert benefiting the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation on Friday November 23 (7:30 p.m.).

Gracing the stage will be  Royal Vale alumni and talented cello player  Stéphane Tétreault, joined by   Opera da Camera members Meagan Zantingh, Benjamin Kwong, and Kathrin Welt in a musical performance.

At just 19 years of age, Tétreault has had many accomplishments. In 2007, he played his way into the first place position in the Montreal Symphony Orchestra Standard Life-OSM. He also was a semi-finalist at both the 2008 Stulberg International String Competition and the 2009 Johansen International String Competition.

Since their inception in 2011, Opera da Camera has created concerts with an eclectic variety of programming, combining works of the classical and musical theatre genres. In an effort to bring their music to audiences that may otherwise not be able to attend a live performance, Opera da Camera also performs regularly in smaller venues and towns throughout Québec.

The musical combination of these talented artists is a performance that should not be missed. Tickets are being sold for $20. For more information please contact 514 481-2463 or email rvconcert@emsb.qc.ca.
