MONTREAL, DECEMBER 3, 2012- For the past 11 years the staff and students at Rosemount Technology Centre’s Cabinetmaking course have been transforming their work area into “Santa’s Woodshop,” building and decorating some two dozen wooden rocking horses.
The week before Christmas, these original creations will be distributed to sick kids at the Montreal Children’s and Ste. Justine hospitals and to needy families with small children. This annual tradition has brought happiness, joy and laughter to many young kids in this true spirit of giving.
“There is no better feeling than the joy of giving, that is what it's all about," says RTC Vice Principal Agostino Porchetta.
