|ROSEMOUNT HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER CARVES OUT PATH TO SUCCESS IN NEW BOOK|
MONTREAL, FEBRUARY 18, 2013 – In addition to being an accomplished physics, mathematics and robotics teacher at Rosemount High School, with the launch of his new book The Mind & the Science of Success, Patrick Mayard can add published author to his resume.
Throughout his teaching career, Mayard has helped several students excel in various disciplines. His book, The Mind & the Science of Success, was written to serve as a roadmap for students to maximize their academic success.
These principles, which continue to be conveyed to his students as well as to others in conferences and seminars, hit the shelves of the McGill University bookstore on February 15.
‘’During my high school years, robotics organized by Mr. Mayard and its principles of success helped me gain confidence in myself as a person and as a leader,”said Christopher Kudo, former student and two time-champion of the Canadian Robotics Competition (2010 & 2011).
Mayard believes that success is a science that can be learned and developed. In addition to the main principle championing the science of success, his book delves into complementary concepts ranging from personal achievement such as choosing a good mentor, perserving in the midst of obstacles, strategic methods to eliminate financial debt to building a proper foundation for one’s future by choosing an academic path that ensures success.
