MONTREAL, APRIL 11, 2014 – In what will be their largest musical production to date, Willy Wonka will be bringing his chocolate factory to Bancroft Elementary (4563 St. Urbain) in the Plateau on April 29 (7 pm) and May 1 (7 pm).

Willy Wonka Jr. is set to feature 110 students on stage with a full complement of sets and costumes. Students and scores of parent volunteers have been preparing and rehearsing since January.

The annual dinner-theatre tradition will continue in advance of the May 1 performance. Priced at $25, a limited number of tickets are still available for an enchanting evening (6:15 pm) which includes a multi-course, home-cooked meal.

Performance-only tickets for Willy Wonka Jr. are priced at $10 for both April 29 and May 1 shows.

Sold out productions in prior years have included The Aristocats and Alice in Wonderland.
