JOHN F. KENNEDY HOLDS SECOND ANNUAL TRUE COLOUR RUN

MONTREAL, JUNE 15, 2015 – All the colours of the rainbow were on display at John F. Kennedy High School in St. Michel recently when they held their second annual “True Colour Run,” which served as a fundraiser for Free the Children.

Students paid $2 to participate in the five kilometer race, during which they were coloured with red, blue, yellow and green powder. At the end of the race, students took part in a “colour explosion,” where the remaining powder was thrown in the air creating an amazing rainbow effect.

The annual race, which is quickly becoming a JFK tradition, was organized by Physical Education Teacher, Shaun Simon, and assisted by the JFK Work Oriented Pathways Program, School Administration and Spiritual and Community Animator, Aaron Durocher.
