|EMSB TO TAKE PART IN TOY-TEA|
MONTREAL, NOVEMBER 28, 2005- Sixteen EMSB schools plan to participate in the 13th annual Christmas and Chanukah Toy-Tea on Wednesday, November 30 at Ogilvy’s Tudor Hall, located at 1307 St. Catherine Street West.
Suzanne Tailleur-Tremblay, the wife of Montreal Mayor Gérald Tremblay, will preside over the event, which will include an Open House, a fashion show and school choir performances. The EMSB students will be on hand at 1 p.m. to present the toys that they are donating to the cause. The Christmas and Chanukah "Toy-Tea" benefits 5,000 children of battered women, children with AIDS and other children’s charities in Montreal.
The participating EMSB schools at the "Toy-Tea" are: Dunrae Gardens and Carlyle in TMR; Vincent Massey Collegiate and Nesbitt in Rosemount; Royal Vale in N.D.G; Laurier Macdonald, Dante, Honoré Mercier and General Vanier in St. Léonard; St. Raphael in Ahuntsic; Lester B. Pearson in Montreal North; John F. Kennedy in St. Michel; Michelangelo in RDP; Edinburgh and Elizabeth Ballantyne in Montreal West; and Dalkeith in Anjou.
