COLOUR RUNNING FOR GOOD CAUSES

MONTREAL, MAY 11, 2016 – Students at John F. Kennedy High School in St. Michel and John Caboto Academy in Ahuntsic will be lacing up their shoes and holding two True Colour Runs, benefiting Free the Children and the victims of the Fort McMurray fire, respectively.

John F. Kennedy High School (3030 Villeray) will be hosting their True Colour Run on Thursday, May 12 (2 pm), followed by John Caboto Academy (8955 Meunier) on Tuesday, June 14 (12:30 pm).

The unique events have two common goals: celebrating the community and supporting a worthy cause. Throughout the race, participants will be covered in different colours at five-minute intervals. Runners will also be surrounded by a festive atmosphere of music and dancing. At the culmination of the event, all the participants join together for a massive colour throw, which creates a spectacular colour cloud.
