ROCH CARRIER TO CELEBRATE READING AT PIERRE ELLIOTT TRUDEAU ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

MONTREAL, JUNE 6, 2016 – Roch Carrier, one of Canada’s most famous authors, is set to visit Pierre Elliott Trudeau Elementary School (6855 Cartier) in Rosemount on Tuesday, June 7 (10:15 am).

Carrier will read his most famous book, The Hockey Sweater, to students in Grade 1 and 2. Following his presentation, all students in will receive a signed copy of the book.

Carrier’s visit is being organized by First Book Canada in recognition of Reading Celebrations being held across the country. The event is also sponsored by the Bank of Montreal (BMO) and apart of their annual Volunteer Day, whereas employees give back to their local community by participating in a number of events and activities.
  
As the students receive their books from Carrier, they will be then be paired up with the BMO volunteers to read to and with each other and share the love of reading and books.
