Kennedy High School’s Work-Oriented Training Pathway (WOTP) program, in collaboration with The Canadian Foundation for Economic Education (cfee.org) and Scotia Bank, will be hosting its first annual Money Fair for Financial Literacy on Tuesday, April 18 (11:30 am to 1:30 pm). It will take place at the school, 3030 Villeray, in St. Michel.
Students will be exhibiting projects on a number of money-related issues. Kiosks will be set up and run by students and will include the students’ individual projects, as well as some of the program’s recent entrepreneurship projects. There will also be a number of retail items for sale, as well as a kiosk selling snacks. All are welcome and encouraged to visit.
Coordinator Stefan Kazamias says this program is similar to the CFEE’s talk-to-your-kids-about-money day
