|ST. PIUS X CULINARY INSTITUTE TO BE SHOWCASED ON CBC's LIVING MONTREAL|
MONTREAL, NOVEMBER 8, 2007- The English Montreal School Board's St. Pius X Culinary Institute in Ahuntsic will be showcased November 12- 16 on CBC Television's Living Montreal, a guide to better living in the city which airs weekdays at 1 p.m.
Host Sue Smith and her crew spent several days at the school.
During the week shows will include student Kim Chackal showing Sue different chopping techniques while another segment Chef Massimo will demonstrate how to cut up a chicken There will also be stories on vegan cooking, clothing swaps, hair care and kitchen knives.
The entire week of shows were shot in the kitchen, with the students cooking in the background. There will be some exterior shots of St-Pius as well. "I must say we all agree that St-Pius has been one of our best weeks so far," said Natalie Karneef, one of the show's producers.
