MONTREAL, MAY 15, 2008— Student representatives from Lester B. Pearson High School and École Secondaire Henri Bourassa in Montreal North, accompanied by their principals and administrators from the English Montreal School Board and the Commission Scolaire de la Pointe-de-l'Île (CSPI), will meet the media on Tuesday, May 20 (10 a.m) for the first time since last fall’s violent incidents involving the two schools.
The press conference will take place in the staff room at 11575 P.M. Favier. On this occasion there will be a presentation of the various measures which have been taken over the last eight months to bring the student bodies from the two schools closer together. Students collobarated on attractive murals in both buildings. Officials will also discuss future plans for rapprochement. At 10:45 a.m. the media will then be invited to École Secondaire Henri Bourassa (6051, boul. Maurice-Duplessis).
