Repercussion Theatre



MONTREAL, APRIL 29, 2009-     Momentum is building for the English Montreal School Board  (EMSB) 10th anniversary Student Showcase, which will take place on Thursday,  May 28 (7:30 p.m.) at  Westmount High School (4350 St. Catherine Street).

“This will be an evening filled with music and dance showcasing our most talented students,” state event co-chairs Myrianne  Lusignan and Angela Vaudry, both of whom are EMSB vice-principals.  “We are devoted to making this exhibition of talent a great event by promoting the active student life within our high schools and by acknowledging the dedicated teaching staff within the EMSB community. This is also an opportunity to celebrate our past 10 years and our brilliant future.”

A total of 182 students from 13 high schools  will participate. Confirmed are:   F.A.C.E,     James Lyng,   John F. Kennedy,  John Paul I High School, LaurenHill Academy , Laurier MacDonald ,   Lester B. Pearson, Marymount Academy, Rosemount, Royal Vale,     Royal West Academy, Vincent Massey Collegiate,     Westmount and the EMSB Chorale (Choir). They will be displaying such talents as jazz, rock  and classical music and different modes of dance.
