GENERAL VANIER STUDENTS KICK IT UP MICHAEL JACKSON STYLE

MONTREAL, APRIL 20, 2010 General Vanier Elementary School in St. Léonard will be paying tribute to the King of Pop at the Leonardo da Vinci Cultural Centre in St. Léonard (8350-8370 Blvd. Lacordaire) on Thursday, April. 22 (7 p.m.).

General Vanier students and teachers will be presenting “Night of the Glove” a tribute to Michael Jackson. The entire school, from Kindergarten to Grade 6, will be participating in this event. Music teacher Jason Lipstein, has organized the program with the assistance of other members of school staff and a dedicated team of parent volunteers.

The young musicians, singers and dancers will be kicking it up, “Glee” style to some of the great Michael Jackson classics like Thriller, Beat It, Man in the Mirror and Mrs. Jean (Billie Jean). This event is not open to the public, but family and friends of the school only.
