A number of dignitaries were on hand, including Montreal North Borough Mayor Marcel Parent. Plaques were unveiled, designed by RTC students, featuring a drawing of Curtis George. EMSB Director of Adult Education and Vocational Services Rosario Ortona, Director General Antonio Lacroce, Deputy Director General Donald A. Reid and Director of Community Relations Horace Goddard addressed the audience. Members of the George family were on hand for the program, hosted by RTC Director Marzia Michielli.
