Gerald McShane Elementary School in Montreal North is thinking green, and it¹s paying off. On September 22 the school was recognized with a cash reward of $1,500 for finishing first in Canada in a fundraising program called ThinkGreen, a division of Greentec which involves over 1,100 schools. The program provides boxes with pre-paid shipping labels to facilitate the collection of used print cartridges and cell phones to protect the environment from electronic waste and earn funding.
