The students and staff of Marymount Academy in N.D.G. all participated in a five kilometer Terry Fox Run to raise funds for cancer research. In the past, only around twenty percent of students took part in the run.. This year the run coordinators, James Bray and Nina Guzzo, with the support of Principal Luigi Santamaria and the full teaching staff, decided to involve the entire student body. Over 600 students not only ran, but also raised money for this worthy cause. The final tally is not yet in but the school plans to present a hefty donation to the Terry Fox Foundation.
