Students at Honoré Mercier Elementary School in St. Léonard   participated in a  unique video recording taken from the school roof,  creating giant shapes (poppy, flag, heart, etc.) using the entire student population as an outline, to help symbolize the significance and importance of Remembrance Day. For the last scene, they created a field of poppies using red caps that  were distributed to the students. They also had two veterans from the Memory Project of The Dominion Institute of Canada join us and they showed their support by narrating and speaking to our students.
