Former NHL tough guy returns to Willingdon

Former National Hockey League enforcer Gord Donnelly returned to his former elementary school, Willingdon in NDG, to talk to students. Donnelly played for the Quebec Nordiques, Winnipeg Jets, Buffalo Sabres, and Dallas Stars, appearing in 554 games . He scored 28 goals and added 41 assists. In addition, he racked up 2,069 penalty minutes. He is currently a scout for the Chicago Blackhawks. He was even reunited with his former teacher, Ilda (Bucci) Bruce.
