Location
Carlyle school is situated in the Borough of Mount Royal. Nearly all our students come by school bus.  As well, Carlyle is located directly off bus routes 16, 165 & 535. It is within walking distance of the Mount Royal Train Station (Deux-Montagnes line)Carlyle is located in the Town of Mount Royal, on Carlyle Avenue between Graham and Laird boulevards.

About Our School
Carlyle Elementary School is an inner-city, co-educational, public school.  It falls under the auspices of the English Montreal School Board.  It is a community school and strives to respond to the various needs of its vast community.  Located in the scenic Town of Mount Royal, it offers its students a rich academic program, combined with a diverse and multicultural enrichment.  Carlyle students learn to be knowledgeable and committed learners for the future.  At Carlyle children learn in a supportive and caring environment that fosters self-esteem and respect for others.

Distinctive Programs
Carlyle delivers basic instruction in English, offering a strong Language Arts program. In addition, students benefit from a daily Core French program, with 90 minutes from Kindergarten onwards. Music and computer instruction are part of the program at all levels, and a strong resource program provides the necessary educational support for children with a variety of learning needs.
