Honoré Mercier Home And School Association

The Honoré Mercier Home And School Association is a non profit organization that has become an integral part of Honoré Mercier's school life. By working with the administration and staff, we help to ensure that our children receive the best education the system has to offer.

As a member, you benefit from participating in various school activities ( Welcoming Day, Beach Day, Scholastic Book Fair, etc.) and committees (Health and Safety, Literacy, Fundraising, etc.) that enrich your children's school life and social skills. As well, we meet every month to discuss and vote on issues regarding the disbursement of funds, fundraising and upcoming activities and events.

Each May elections are held to elect the members of the Executive Committee. The term is for one year.

Volunteering in the school is a wonderful experience. Please consider donating some of your time. You will meet new people, have a lot of fun and the satisfaction of knowing that you have made a difference in the lives of the children at Honoré Mercier School will make it all worth while. So if you have some time to spare, even if it is only one hour a month, let us know and we will find a place for you. Remember, new members are always welcome.
