Canada's electrical supply and electrical outlets (sockets, wall plugs) is 120 Volts and 60 Hertz. This is the same as in the United States.

You may want to check what the electrical supply is in your own country. Here is a website that tells you about voltage in most countries.

Power Adapter

You probably need to purchase an adapter/converter so you can charge any electronic devices, like a laptop or your phone, while you are in Canada.

There are many stores in Montreal that sell adapters and converters including Walmart, Target, and most of our drugstores/pharmacies such as Jean Coutu and Pharmaprix.
