Travel Students take global warming to heart...
Montreal, QC — March 25, 2008 — The Travel students at the John F Kennedy Business Centre are spreading the word about Earth Hour 2008 (www.earthhour.org). They are committed to informing 5000 people who in turn will inform at least 5000 more about the March 29, 8 p.m. WWF (World Wildlife Fund) lights out event. Make a difference with global warming — participate in turning your lights off for 1 hour.
Global warming is a major threat in today's world. Individuals and businesses alike can do the simplest of things and as a united effort, can make a difference. This combined effort is part of a global warming project that the Travel students are working on to bring awareness on how global warming impacts everyday lives, and the effects on the Tourism industry. The research will enrich their lives and the lives of the people they will inform to influence change and take positive action.
The Travel students at JFKBC invite other students to spread the word and everybody to take part in Earth Hour by turning off their lights for one hour at 8:00 p.m. on March 29, 2008 — a small gesture for a big cause, help Global Warming.
