INFORMATION FOR NEW REGISTRATIONS

A message to all parents considering registering their child/children at Académie Leonardo da Vinci Academy (ALDVA)
Here is some helpful information you need to have before considering registering your child with the English Montreal School Board (EMSB). The registration week for all our schools will be from Monday, February 6 to Friday 10, 2012. At ALDVA, it will be done during that same week between 8:30 and 2:45 with the exception of lunch time (11:00-1:00 pm).

Eligibility Requirements for Public English Schools
QUEBEC REGULATION RESPECTING REQUESTS TO RECEIVE INSTRUCTION IN ENGLISH
In order to qualify for English Instruction in Quebec Public Schools, students must meet certain eligibility criteria under the Charter of the French Language as set out by the Quebec government.
More information on registration with one of the EMSB schools can be found on the school website under SERVICES (Registration).
All parents will be asked to fill out forms which will allow the school to apply for the certificate of eligibility for English schooling. For more information on this, please visit the school board website at www.emsb.qc.ca
In order to avoid long waits, we would kindly ask you to call the school beforehand at 514-648-2764 to make an appointment with Ms. Rosa Salvaggio who will assist you in registering your child to our school.
Should you still have questions about our academy, our academic programs, our daycare or bus transportation in our neighborhood, please call at 514-648-2764. Ms. Carmela Argento Battista or Ms. Rosa Salvaggio will assist you in finding the information needed or the person you should talk to for further details.
Please note that in the near future, some other documents may be required by the school board in order to process your registration request. If that is the case, you will be informed accordingly either by phone or via e-mail.
