The EMSB is currently seeking additional parent representatives to join the Advisory Committee on Special Education Services (ACSES). Parents Invited to Digital Citizenship Workshop

On Tuesday, November 14 (7 pm), parents are invited to John Paul I Junior High School to learn about the various social media being used today and the potential dangers that exist online. Presented by Maureen Baron, the EMSB’s ICT and Digital Citizenship Consultant.

Sex and Health Education Piloted at Lester B. Pearson in Conjunction with the Ministry of Education

The Ministère de l’Éducation, de l’Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche is undertaking a pilot project to formalize learning content related to sexuality education in elementary and secondary schools. We are pleased to announce that our school is one of the schools chosen for the pilot project. Students will receive from 5 to 15 hours of sexuality education every year.

Student Vaccinations

Vaccinations for TdaP and Men-C as well as any standard vaccines that students are missing will be offered to Secondary 3 students on December 11th & 12, 2017

It is recommended to bring your vaccination record/booklet to school on that day so that the vaccinations administered can be entered into it. The health insurance card is not required.
