Final Report Card Pick-Up

The report card pick up date is scheduled on Monday, June 27th, 2016 for all students. The pick-up times are as follows:

  • 08:30 - 09:15: Secondary 1
  • 09:15 - 10:00: Secondary 2
  • 10:00 - 10:45: Secondary 3
  • 10:45 - 11:30: Secondary 4
  • 11:30 - 12:15: Secondary 5

Mathematics - Sec 1 Review Sessions

Dance

Lester B. Pearson High School will be offering an optional but highly recommended review session at our campus as a complement to the teaching of the course throughout the year.

There will be four review sessions that will take place on the following consecutive Saturdays; May 14, 21, 28 and June 4. Each review session will last two hours. The cost of the review sessions is $60.00 Registration from May 2 to 6, 2016

On May 12 LBP will be hosting our last dance of the school year!

Take this opportunity to come out with your friends and end the year with memories that will last a lifetime! The beautiful lights and music await! Save the date.

Hey Graduates, this will the last high school dance of your life. Come out and celebrate the end of High School with your friends, we hope to see you there! Tickets go on sale soon for 8$

All students are allowed to sponsor one visitor from another high school.

Hooked on School Days - Feb 15 to 19

Dance

Lester B. Pearson High School will participate again this year in The Hooked On School Initiative organized by Réseau Réussite Montreal. The theme we chose is "School: The Art of Balancing Mind, Body and Spirit". Many activities organized by staff members have been planned for the week. The week will end with our first Coffee House event of this school year. Attached, to the same email, a schedule of activities for the week. Our first dance of the year will be on February 12th. Don’t pass up the opportunity to make some memories with your friends from 7-11 p.m.

Sounds and lights will be supplied by Remix Entertainment and there will be a free photobooth with props. Drinks and snacks will be available for sale.

Tickets are on sale February 3, 4, and 5th at lunch. Tickets will be sold 8$ each and 2 dollars from every ticket sold will be donated to our charitable campaign in Nicaragua.

All students are allowed to sponsor one visitor from another high school.

Vaccinations for Secondary 3 Students

Student Council

Vaccinations for HPV, TdaP and Men-C as well as any standard vaccines that students are missing will be offered to Secondary 3 students on Feburary 4th and 5th, 2016.

It is recommended to bring your vaccination record/booklet to school on that day so that the vaccinations administered can be entered into it. A health insurance card is not required.

Take our Kids to Work (Secondary 3)

Honour Roll

The Secondary III Personal Orientation Project [POP] students will be participating in the Canada-wide program: Take our Kids to Work! This year’s TOKW day is on November 4th 2015.

The TOKW program enables students to experience the world of work first hand, while also illustrating the importance of education, skill development and training. Students have an opportunity to see what the workplace is like, appreciate the expectations, understand their parents better and understand the importance of planning their career path.

Placement exams for advanced courses in Honours Mathematics, Français Langue Maternelle and Enriched English will take place at Lester B. Pearson High School on the following dates:

We Scare Hunger Campaign

Honour Roll

Throughout the month of October we will be collecting food items in the plaza area, we will have a non-uniform day in exchange for the donation of one food item on October 30th and we are excited to announce our third annual walkathon to end hunger in our community. Walkers would solicit pledges ahead of the event and food items would be collected in advance by students in our plaza as well as at the start and finish of the
event.
