L.I.N.K.S After-School Program

The LINKS afterschool program aims to provide students with a variety of integrated, stimulating and therapeutic activities. Additionally we aim to include activities that promote life skills. All programs are led and supervised by qualified instructors and childcare workers. The afterschool program will be taking place for the whole school year across three sessions of ten weeks. This website provides a platform where students, parents and staff can stay connected and view what the students have been doing.

Programs Offered:

Adaptive Tennis: Proset Autism

Adaptive sport program is aimed at developing Motor skills and body awareness, strengthening of self-confidence and social skills and strengthening concentration and perseverance All while creating a positive sport experience and having fun!

Our students have really been enjoying their experience of adaptive tennis. They look forward to it every week and they are eager to learn something new every session from the instructors.




Drama Therapy

Drama therapy is an experiential therapeutic method that incorporates theatre games, improvisation, role-play, storytelling, and other creative art modalities that invite spontaneity, creativity, communication development, confidence building, self-awareness and expression.

Students have been enjoying role-play and have been getting creative with how they use their verbal and non-verbal body language to express themselves.





Art Therapy

Art therapy is an expressive therapy that uses the creative process of making art to improve a person’s physical, mental and emotional well-being. Students are able to explore various art media, such as drawing, painting, clay, sculpture, fabrics and other art forms to freely express feelings.

Days Offered:

  • Mondays: 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Tuesdays: 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Wednesdays: 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Thursdays: 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.


  • The program wil take place across the following 10-week sessions:
  • Period 1: October 3, 2016 to December 8, 2016
  • Period 2: January 16, 2017 to March 30, 2017
  • Period 3: April 10, 2017 to June 15, 2016


  • $ 12.00 per day

Transport from School to Home:

Transport Adapter (STM): If a student meets the eligibility criteria provided by the STM’s public transportation service, transport adapter, they can register. If approved, an STM Taxi will pick them up from school and drive them home (Restrictions do apply, transit costs do apply, transit limited within the island of Montreal).
