Does your child have a special teacher? One who goes the extra mile to make a difference in your a child’s life. Grand & Toy, in partnership with Learning for a Sustainable Future, thinks they deserve special recognition. So on October 5, 2010, they’ll be rewarding 26 special teachers across Canada with $1,500 in school supplies and a brand new chair!
Talk to your child about their Merton teacher and find out what makes them special. Then fill out the attached form and submit it before June 25, 2010.

CKUT has paired up with the McGill Conservatory Day Camp of Performing Arts (aka: Artemusik) for the CKUT Radio Camp. Radio Camp gives a chance for future journalists, DJs, music enthusiasts,
writers, and documentary makers to learn the ins and outs of radio.

Waste Collection Project
Merton students and staff are proud to say that they have reduced the amount of garbage they throw out per day.
We now throw away 1/2 a bag of garbage per day compared to the 14 bags a day we would throw out one month ago.
Keep up the good work Merton!
