Students at each Grade level will have the opportunity to participate in one or more field trips throughout the year, varying from walks to the city library or the local fire station, to planned visits to city museums and other attractions, and to the three-day camp that our Cycle 3 students attend each winter. Even though all our field trips have a strong educational component, we view them as enrichment activities. Participation in field trips is therefore a privilege that students earn, not a right. Responsible behaviour and good citizenship are the ticket to every outing. Students who do not display behavior consistent with our school values may be asked to stay behind at the discretion of the teachers and administration, to preserve the quality of the experience for the group involved.
