Life as a student at Merton is full of opportunities to learn and play! There is always a new adventure waiting just around the corner.

Here you will find out all you need to know about our achievements, social and community programs, events and news from the Merton community.

  • Halo Road Race 2018:
  • The weather was a little chilly to start the day but ended on a high note. A big thank you to the Mme Tania, the teachers, and other adult participants who attended this year's event with our grade 4 to 6 students. Both Simon and Levi came in 1st in their races, with Christina coming in 5th for the grade 6 girls. Click here to for images of the day.
We congratulate our teachers on this wonderful achievement! Proud moment...
  • Quebec RoboJunior 2018: A group of twenty-one students from grades 3-6 participated in this year's competition at the end of April. We came in 1st and 2nd in soccer, and our Three Amigos team won the tug-of-war event in Triathlon (but alas no medal). Watching the children support each other and learn about themselves during this event is a prize that cannot be measured. They are all winners! Click here for photos.

  • Halo Road Race 2017: The weather was perfect for the final race attended by Mr. Molo. A big thank you to the teachers who attended with this year's participants in the event. Simon came in 9th in his division. Click here to see the children in action.
  • Quebec RoboCup 2017: Merton participated in the competition this year with thirty-two students; nine teams. We won first and second place in the Soccer competition and 2nd place went to The Lorax team in the Onstage competition. While it is great to walk away with a prize, the greatest prize is the teamwork and life skills the children develop during this event.
  • Wonder Robotics Competition: Congratulations to Mme Nathalie and the children of salle 4 who participated in December for the first time in this online competition. All of the teams (five in all) completed the initial challenges with one of her team's going on to the final round for perfect score!
