Governing Board

In 1998 Quebec reorganized its school boards along linguistic lines and created Governing Boards. The Governing Board is the official parent body of the school and concerns itself with issues which affect the school community as a whole. The members of the Governing Board are legally required to act in the best interest of the students. It advises and approves the polices brougth forth by the principal and the school board. The composition of the Governing Board is determined at a General Assembly of parents which is held during the month of September. The dates of the meetings for 2009-2010 are November 10, December 8, January 12, February 9, March 15, April 12, May 10, and June 10 at 7:00 p.m.
