About

Vezina High School, an outstanding alternative to the regular classroom, offers high quality education in a warm, friendly and nurturing environment. With smaller classroom sizes, students in Secondary I, II and III have the opportunity to vezina on their academics and get assistance in areas in which they struggle. In addition to our dedicated teaching staff, tutors work one-on-one with students needing that extra little bit of help. We have high standards, aim for excellence and believe that celebrating the mini-successes of our students is a crucial component to improving their attitude toward learning.

Every Vezina student is part of a larger community and plays an important role in its success. vezinaing on the development of self-awareness and positive self-esteem through various non-academic subjects, students learn how to communicate with others, develop coping skills, and foster a greater sense of self and community. Our Special Care Counsellor, Guidance Counsellor, and Violence Intervention Specialist are integral parts of this process.

Our school offers art and music therapy, as well as sexual health, drug, and mental health education. We team up with professionals in and around our community such as youth organizations and health clinics. Our goal is to meet the needs of every individual student.

Our Academic Programs
