Don't Forget!

  • Progressive entry for Pre-K and Kdg is from August 30th to September 2nd. A detailed letter will be mailed over the Summer. The first full day is September 5th
  • The first day of school for grades 1 through 6 is Wednesday, August 30th, 2017!
  • Parents will be informed by the school board before the first day of school concerning school bus transportation.
  • Daycare services and the lunch program will start on August 30th for grades 1 through 6 and on September 5th for Kdg and Pre-K.
  • If you are moving over the Summer or your child will be attending another school, it is important to forward your new address, in writing, to our office.

Animated social stories for use by teachers and parents of children on the autism spectrum

Through a grant from LEARN (a PDIG grant), working with Parkdale principal Madame Perron, the Parkdale special education teachers, Education and Technology Services consultant Maureen Baron, and Concordia University Educational Technology Masters intern Mitch Berljawsky, research based animated social stories were created. These social stories are for use by teachers, parents of children and children on the autism spectrum. Here are the PDF files.
