Rememberance Day

At our assembly on November 11th we observed a minute of silence to honor our fallen soldiers. After the minute of silence, Mrs. Popowycz's class recited the poem, In Flanders Field. Later on Ms. Poullas ouou mer spiritual animator, invited Grade 4-6 students and teachers to the open area where she had on display wreaths and candles to commemorate the occasion. She also showed a power point presentation on the ravages of war, what our soldiers lived through, and the impact it made on our lives as Canadians.
