How do I Register?

All new registrations for elementary students for the current school year will take place at the schools in early February. The applications for the certificate of eligibility will be done at the same time.

Pierre de Coubertin registers new students throughout the school year, however, acceptance depends on classroom availability and whether the student lives within the school's boundaries. Parents must have a Certificate of Eligibility for their child.

You must bring the following documents with you to register your child:

  • Long Version Birth Certificate (showing Both Parents' Names)
  • Immigration Papers (required if not born in Canada)
  • Certificate of Eligibility for English Education
  • Proof of residence (lease, driver's licence, utility invoice etc.)
  • Child's most recent report card (for grades 1 to 6)
  • Vaccination Booklet

Pierre de Coubertin Territory

Each elementary school within the EMSB serves the community within it's boundaries. Children living within these boundaries and their siblings have priority over children living outside of the school boundaries when registering at the school. Students living outside of the school boundaries are not eligible for bussing. Click on the link below to view the school's Boundary maps:
