Special Needs Students at the Secondary 1 level will work on an E-Pal project with a school in Sweden so that the two different classes can engage in a cultural exchange through an informal interaction over the internet.
1. to exchange information concerning Rosemount High School
life and the city of Montreal with high school students at
Lagaholmskolan, Sweden.
2. to improve writing skills through writtten correspondence
describing Rosemount High School and Montreal.
3. to increase familiarity with ICT (information and communication
technologies) through use of word processing , internet and e
mail.
4. to exchange information and experiences with other students to
gain understanding of another culture and environment
Select students will correspond with Swedish students over a specified period of time to complete this activity.
