“Open the heavy oak doors and suddenly you’re tiptoeing up the
stairs. Down the corridor, the 20-foot tall ceilings arch over
polished wide-panel flooring, reflecting the grandness of 100
years of student life, laughter and learning.”
Ursula Jugel, Parent of a Roslyn Student

1907 to 2011 and onward…
"Roslyn Elementary has been at the forefront of innovation and academic
excellence in public education for just over a century. In that time
we have pioneered such programs as French Immersion, and graduated many
remarkable individuals. As we reach to meet the needs of our students
and our community, I am proud to say that innovation and academic excellence
will continue to lead our way.
For 2011/12, we are expanding our individualized enrichment programs
to better serve the unique needs and talents of every child. At Roslyn
this is quite a challenge. We proudly serve a multi-cultural, socio-economically
and linguistically diverse population of students from around the world,
garnering a broad range of experiences, talents and dreams.
Through collaboration and a love for learning, we try to encourage every student to find comfort, confidence and individual excellence among a group of aspiring peers. I believe our new enrichment program is an integral part of our success.”
Won’t you join us!
