A Day at Royal Vale

A journey through the eyes of a Royal Vale student is one that is challenging, but the experience is well worth it.

Royal Vale is an extraordinary school. It is a school that prepares today's youth for tomorrow's world through a challenging curriculum and extensive extra-curricular program which provides students with the opportunity to assume leadership roles well after completing high school.

At Royal Vale Elementary, an Integrated Enrichment Program that includes Hebrew Studies (PELO) or Language Arts in French or English, as well as parent-sponsored after-school enrichment programs. The Enrichment Program offers enrichment in the domains of mathematics, science, arts and physical education.

In High School, Royal Vale offers intensive studies in mathematics, science and compulsory extra-curricular activities. Research indicates that participation in extra-curricular activities improves academic performance. As of 2016, students can choose from different concentration options including music, drama and sports. Students will also be able to choose between our Français Immersion (70% French instruction) or Français Flex (30% French instruction) programs.

French, math and science, critical thinking skills, acceptance, democratic values, extra-curricular activities and leadership roles are all key elements of Royal Vale's mission.

Come and join our school family and experience the benefits and uniqueness of a small school with a big heart!

RVS Women Builders Help Realize a Dream

Our RVS Women Builders Team believes in teaching our students to give back to the community and to move beyond gender stereotypes. This summer, two of our RVS builders, Patrizia Battaglia and Nathalie Malhamé, attended the Habitat for Humanity handing over of the key ceremony in Ormstown; they celebrated as the owner opened the door to their new home. The owner will now be able to enjoy affordable housing and realize one of her dreams thanks to the collaboration of many partners, including RVS staff, school boards, Habitat for Humanity, and over 100 women builders.

Students with Host of Look Kool TV Show

RVS Students on Look Kool TV Show

During the summer of 2015, some of our RVS students participated in the filming of the show Look Kool. It is an educational math show for kids that airs on TVO Kids. The host, Hamza, lead the RVS students with other children as they competed in teams of two in activities based on each week's episode theme. The Investigators kept their eyes peeled as they looked for math and geometry in places no one would have expected while doing awesome experiments with experts.
