After JUNE 15, 2011 all applications (Elementary or Secondary) for Certificate of Eligibility must be done at the School Board, please see the EMSB Website for further details at www.emsb.qc.ca
For Pre Kindergarten students: child must be 4 years of age before September 30th. Pre Kindergarten is offered in certain schools recognized by the M.E.L.S. as inner city. For Kindergarten, the child must be 5 years of age before September 30th. Otherwise, you can apply for derogation. Certificate of Eligibility:
In order to qualify for English Instruction in Quebec Public Schools, students must meet certain eligibility criteria under the Charter of the French Language as set out by the Quebec government.
