Summer Gardening at Saint Monica

The Green Committee, in collaboration with Action Communautaire, is launching a fun new summer gardening program for students, their families and the wider community this summer. Each Saturday, join us for a few hours in the sun, and grow and eat fresh fruits and veggies from the garden. No gardening experience required!

Cost: $10 membership fee per family - good for the whole season! All funds go to the school's Green Committee fund.

Seedling Sale Success

Saint Monica's first ever seedling sale is now over, and was a fantastic success. The sale proceeds will go to expanding and improving the school's award-winning gardens. Thanks to all our parents, neighbours and friends who took part in this extraordinary fundraiser. Special thanks to the Green Committee for the dedication and commitment. See you again next year!

Dynamix Field Day

Celebrate Saint Monica's annual Field Day on Tuesday, June 3, with activities animated by DYNAMIX. Enjoy inflatable games, competitions and other fun activities in the beautiful sun. Students will also enjoy chicken hot dogs, juice and fruit. Cost per student is $5.

Don't forget your bathing suit, towel, running shoes and a hat or sunscreen. See you there!

School Spirit Survey Now Closed

After two very successful weeks, the school spirit survey is now closed. Nearly 45% of Saint Monica families participated, sharing their opinions on our schools symbols, activities and services. We thank all parents for their participation in this consultation. The School Spirit Committee will be analyzing the results over the coming weeks, and comparing them against similar surveys completed by staff and students (cycles 2 & 3). The results will also be made public in the near future, should you like to consult them. Should you have any questions regarding the survey, please contact us at schoolspirit@ravenhillcomm.ca.
