Professional Cooking

Students from Roslyn Elementary flipped over not only their pizza dough, but also their culinary school experience at St. Pius X.

Entering the huge walk-in freezer, tossing pizza dough in the air, and choosing their own toppings were some of the highlights experienced by these young aspiring chefs. Donning chefs' hats and aprons, young wannabees mixed and rolled dough, spread tomato sauce and sprinkled cheese and healthy vegetables for their very own pizza pies.

Eaten with smiles on their faces in the St. Pius X Culinary Institute dining room, the pizzas were testament to their budding skills. An exciting time was had by all.
