Special Dress Days at Willingdon

On February 9th 2010, Willingdon students will show their kindness and generosity in Stretching their Hearts to the People in Haiti. All students are invited to wear red on this day and donate $1 to help the people in Haiti.

Thank you to all who have made our Wear Red for Haiti a huge success.

On March 17th, Willingdon will hold another special dress day which will Respond to the people in Haiti with Irish Hospitality. All students are invited to wear green and donate $1.

Your kindness and generosity is very much appreciated.

Help and Hope for Haiti Fundraising Raffle

There will also be a Help and Hope for Haiti Fundraising Raffle. For every $5 donation your child's name will be entered in the draw, $10 gets two chances, $15 will get three chances, and so on. There are two fantastic door prizes that the children can win. They are: 1 Montreal Canadiens hockey stick personally signed by all the Montreal Canadians players and 4 tickets to the Disney "Princess Classics" on Saturday, March 6th, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. The draw will be held on Monday, February 8th. All of the funds raised will be donated to the Canadian Red Cross. Thank you to Club de Hockey Canadien, Gillett Entertainment Group and Publicité Effix for the donation of prizes. Also a big thank you to Chantal Damas for organizing this raffle.
